Visitors Receive the Royal Treatment Upon Arrival
Anguilla’s tourist board has teamed up with local stakeholders from every sector of the tourism business to introduce visitors at the Clayton J Lloyd International Airport (CJLIA) and the Blowing Point Ferry Terminal to a regal reception. Visitors will receive refreshments, gift items, and warm welcomes twice a month on the busiest arrival days at the ports of entry. We are working to enhance our visitors’ experiences continually,” said the Hon. Minister of Tourism Haydn Hughes. It is important to us that both the first and last impressions of the island are equally memorable. We are known for our hospitality, and we recognise the importance of providing it for our visitors. It is vitally important that both the first and last impressions of our island are equally memorable.”

We are appreciative of the generous support of our stakeholders in this programme. This is a collaborative effort, and we are thrilled to see one of the main goals of the Destination Experience Unit come to fruition. We are delighted to see visitors expressing their own support and appreciation for this new initiative, with many positive posts and comments on the ATB’s social channels. ‘This is my first time on the MIA to AXA flight and couldn’t have asked for a better welcome!’ posted LBW. ‘You set the bar high for a welcome experience!’ exclaimed JKP. ‘What a delightful group! I saw them Saturday. Thank you so much!’ shared BS.
